The mission of the Annual Information Technology Congress (CATI) is to promote knowledge in the area of Information Technology as applied to business. By encouraging the generation, sharing and spreading of the knowledge related to the main themes, concerning use and management of information technology in business, both private and public environments.

The Congress is intended to become national and international reference in the area,at academic and business levels.

The main theme of the third congress is "Aspects and Contributions of the Use of Information Technology".

CATI 2006 will take place on July 26th, 27th and 28th, 2006 and its main structure is:

    Lectures of renowned national and international experts.
    Debates on the mainstream themes, with personalities from the academic and business world.
    Presentation of works with either an academic or business focus, selected by the Scientific Committee.
    Papers delivered by renowned guest speakers in the national and international scenarios.
    Consolidation of debates on the discussed themes and their new perspectives.
    Presentation board of Master and Doctoral Thesis to be defended.
    Award-giving ceremony for the best work.
